LaserSmart navigation using LIDAR technology
Botvac D4 uses LaserSmart™ to scan and map your entire house, creating a floor plan for your robot to follow. It is a LIDAR based technology similar to what is used in self driving cars. Therefore, Botvac D4 moves exactly how a smart robot should, in straight lines instead of a random pattern. Since LaserSmart uses lasers, your robot can even clean in the dark.
Set virtual boundaries using No-Go Lines
Be as messy as you want to be. Virtual No-Go Lines tell your Botvac D4 where not to go. Have a room full of clothes on the floor you would like the robot vacuum to avoid? Add a No-Go Line at the entrance of the room right from the Neato app. It’s that easy.
Bigger vacuum brush for a better clean
Botvac D4 comes with a combo brush that’s up to 70% bigger than those round robots3, spanning across the entire front of the robot. It’s great for cleaning hardwood, carpet, or tile —so it’s perfect for your home.
Long battery life plus Quick Boost charging
With up to 75 minutes of battery life1, the Botvac D4 robot vacuum is just right for cleaning a house or apartment. But, sometimes your robot needs a little extra juice to finish the job. With quick boost charging, it calculates the amount of power needed to finish, charges accordingly, and gets back to cleaning faster.
